Old Timer Pocket Knife Bearhear EXTIt appears that as with most good things, there comes an end.  Many Old Timer Pocket Knives have come for years with a hole in the end of the handle.  This could be used for lanyards, clips, leather ties or key rings.  As new productions of these knives come out, this hole has disappeared.

One example I recently ran across was the 53OTG, commonly known as the Old Timer Bearhear Ext single blade pocket knife.  Even most of the pictures of the knife still show the old style with the useful hole in the end of of the handle.
